Research Associate for a GPU-accelerated project studying strong correlation, entanglement and complexity in topological and flat band systems. Involves theoretical and computational work using dynamical mean field theory and entanglement markers. Ph.D. or equivalent with strong condensed matter physics background preferred; prior experience in correlated or topological systems is advantageous. Initial tenure one year, extendable up to one additional year.
Develop mathematical models for fluid flow and contaminant transport in membrane-based water filtration systems including ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis. Requires PhD in hydraulics, water resources, engineering, physics, mathematics, or hydrogeology with prior experience in numerical modeling of fluid dynamics and contaminant transport. Initial appointment is 6 months, renewable to 1 year subject to performance.
